Solidarity with ukranian journalist accused of High Treason

The Hungarian Peace Community has assured full moral and political support to ukranian journalist, Ruslan Kotsaba arrested by the ukranian political police (SBU) because his opinion of „fratricide war” in Ukraine and critics of the military mobilisation ordered by president Porosenko. Kotsaba’s crime is that he condemned the military intervention of Kiev against Donbass and taken the defense of the Peace – Amnesty International has written from Kiev.

„Kotsaba is not alone with this opinion nor in Ukraine, or abroad. He has unmasked the policy set up for the protector of the european values, while ordering to shoot onto his own citizens” – Hungarian Community for Peace tells in a press release issued in Budapest on Saturday. „The insubordination in Ukraine is becoming a mass phenomenon, Sons of different Nations and National Minorities, amongst them Hungarians, composing the multiethnical State of Ukraine are refusing to shed each other blood for the interest of the authoritarian regime of Porosenko and Jatseniuk. More and more people are condemning this policy also out of Ukraine, because leading to nothing. On the contrary, it begins to constitute the crime of genocide. Examples beeing the starve into surrender of people living in East Ukraine and the closure of the gas-taps by Kiev in Winter time. The consequences of such a crimes only could be alleviated with Russian help, by the serial convoys coming from Russia with food and fuel to the besieged region, and nowday also with the free of charge russian gaz supply arriving to the population in need. Kotsaba’s fearless upholding is an example for everybody the peaceful living together of the Peoples is important.
